The Herval Group
In 1959, a wood company was founded in the city of Dois Irmãos in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a sawmill in the district of Santa Maria do Herval. Since then, many years of history, learning and achievements have passed, always having the same solid foundation: its values and principles, believing in the strength of work, ethics, the will to grow and respect for people and the environment.
A little of our history
In the 1970s, Herval began expanding its horizons by producing upholstered furniture. The initiative to produce upholstery led to the next important step: the creation of the foam factory, primarily to cater to the upholstery and mattress production. This marks the beginning of the Herval Group, initially with three divisions: Commercial, Furniture and Chemistry.
The creation of Uultis
In 2016, a new concept of furniture is proposed - Uultis. In Latin, Uultis means desire, hence the inspiration for the brand's creation: furniture with soul that translates to the contemporary desire for well-living. In which the focus is the passion for the living experience, far beyond the object. This is why a careful attention to detail is introduced in original and functional pieces.
